Group
Family Resources offers a monthly parent support group. The purpose of
this group is to provide parenting information and socialization support
relative to raising your adopted child. The evening consists of a
presentation and discussion session regarding a pertinent topic. Topics
include things like potty training, feeding, community opportunities, "what
do I do when _____", how to handle family outings, how to deal with
extended family or community in respect to your adoption, etc.

Fine
Tuning Your Adoption
Family Resources would
like to assist you in fine tuning your adoption. We will soon be offering
assistance to your family in a variety of ways: classes, groups, materials and
presentations.
Volunteer
Opportunities
Family Resources has a wide variety of areas in which we could use volunteer
assistance. These opportunities include things like yard work, office
support, mentor families and much more. The time commitment is what you
have to offer. If you specialize in a field we could possibly put that to
work too.
Dads
Group
Family Resources offers a group just for Dads. The purpose of the
group is to give Dads of adopted children a supportive place to talk about
their new role. Adoptive Fathers deal with many issues, for example:
children's fear of men, discipline, dealing with Russian culture, your new
relationship with your new child, the change in the role of your wife, the
changes in your married relationship, etc.
